ICDQ Greece get accredited for ISO 14064-1:2019

What is it?

The standard specifies the principles and requirements for the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG – Greenhouse Gases or Greenhouse Gases) and their reduction. It includes the requirements for the design, development, management, reporting and verification of an organization’s greenhouse gas inventory.

 

Who is it aimed at?

The standard is aimed at all Companies, Organizational Structures (such as Groups and Holdings), construction sites, production sites and all those companies that have a direct or potential impact on the environment through the production (as a by-product of processing) of greenhouse gases. The gases covered by the standard are carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons, sulfur hexafluoride and more generally all the gases present in the Kyoto Protocol. In particular, the production processes with the highest environmental impact are Electrical, Refining, Steel, Refining, Paper production, Glass, Cement and Brick.
